# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The combination of buttery cookie with tropical guava creates an unexpected but delightful flavor pairing
  • Simple ingredients you likely already have on hand (except perhaps the guava jam)
  • Perfect for beginners with straightforward techniques
  • Makes an impressive addition to cookie platters with minimal effort
  • The vibrant pink centers make them visually appealing
02 -
  • If the dough sticks to your hands when forming the cookies, lightly dust your palms with flour
  • Make sure your butter is properly softened (but not melted) for the ideal cookie texture
  • If jam is too thick to spoon easily, warm it slightly in the microwave
  • Don't overfill the indentations or the jam may bubble over during baking
  • Watch cookies carefully during the last few minutes of baking - they should remain pale with just slightly golden edges
